  • Contracts in the field. Axereal offers cooperative producers from Agralys and Epis-Centre “Filière Orges Brassicoles” contracts (Brewing barley sector). These contracts are offered to areas which fulfil both the criteria for “Brewing barley land” and “Brewing barley logistics”.

The Group relies on trials conducted in its agronomic testing area and on different platforms in order to raise the quality of produce and guarantee the performance of contracts for both winter and spring barley.

  • Malt houses. Axereal has the use of 11 malt houses in Europe with a total production capacity of 1.1 million tons of malt: Antwerp, Ghlin and Gembloux in Belgium, Issoudun in France, Knapton and Bury St Edmunds in England, Athy in Ireland, Glenesk and Buckie in Scotland, Dunaujvaros in Hungary and Nova Gradiska in Croatia.

Synergies come into play between these different production sites which each have their own specifications.
