The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the mechanical and electrical maintenance functions of the site to ensure uninterrupted production, continuity of operation of mechanical and electrical systems and processes throughout the Plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this is a key role onsite and will focus on both long-term predictive and preventive maintenance strategies for the plant. In addition, this role will see you:
- Planning work - including the creation and review of maintenance job plans for all assets were required;
- Preventive and Predictive work process, such as reviewing repetitive failures (bad actors);
- Inventory / Purchasing Management, ensuring the right critical spares are available when needed.
- Work execution and improving process, as well as reviewing all new work order requests for planning and scheduling;
- Contributing to and influencing an environment where SH&E is an integral part of how we do business;
- Ensuring plant HACCP, Quality and Continuous Improvement systems are followed and requirements are met (FSSC 22000 and others).
Positive and motivated, you will possess strong computer literacy and an interest in automation. You will also bring with you:
- Mechanical Trade Qualifications;
- Experience in maintenance and reliability planning and leadership;
- Experience with computerized maintenance systems;
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Intermediate capability with MS Suite
- SAP, Maximo and CMMS exposure
