Based in our South Australia plants, you will be responsible for the packing of malt for our export and domestic customers.
A key member of our SA team, this role will see you:
Successfully complete export documentation in line with export regulations (attention to detail/no error)
responsible for malt packing for export and domestic customers
perform authorised officer duties to meet quarantine requirements for export shipments
set and maintain the highest possible standards for hygiene and pest control management within the plant
rotate through other suitable roles as/when required.
Master recherché
Authorised Officer certification is desirable as the successful applicant will need to inspect malt on behalf of DAFF as it is packed for export.
As a minimum, applicants without an AO accreditation must be eligible to become an AO and be capable of providing 100 points of identification. & National Police Check (<12 months old)
Commitment to set and maintain the highest possible hygiene standards and pest management throughout the sites. This requires a demonstrated persistence and ability to thoroughly complete physical tasks.
Excellent communication skills for close collaboration with Production Technicians, maintenance staff, internal stakeholders and external service providers
Process minded approach to maximise efficiencies in packaging and logistics.
Skill in troubleshooting and a continuous improvement mindset
Diligence and attention to detail for accurate document control
Flexible work hours and across multiple locations
Agility to be able to change activities and safely meet deadlines
Team player willing to assist in other teams as required
