Missions essentielles
As Management Accountant at Boortmalt, you will be responsible for the Irish accounting processes, month-end and reporting activities. You will ensure timely, accurate and complete recording of financial data to generate correct financial management information.
Your main responsibilities:
Ensure timely monthly accounts closing and reporting to group deadlines
Work closely and partner with Operational Managers to provide financial insights to support continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations monthly
Support the annual financial statements and audits
Support the Ireland FM to ensure budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis are produced in a timely manner and are fit for purpose
Maintain fixed asset register and capex reporting
Financial analyses to include but not limited to: Sales reporting, margin analysis, energy reporting, staff costs
Contribute to Group financial process improvement and maintain controls integrity
Deputise for Ireland FM as appropriate
Provide necessary support to ensure accuracy of production/stock/yield reporting
Monthly P&L analysis ensuring variations to budgets/forecasts are tracked, analysed, explained
Quarterly Intercompany Reconciliations
Monthly cash forecast with commentary, reconciling direct and indirect approaches
You are also capable of spotting striking, anomalous matters and participate proactively in improving accounting processes and increasing their efficiency.
Master recherché
You are ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified
You have 3-5 years of experience working as an accountant within the manufacturing industry
You have advanced knowledge of the EPR system (JD Edwards is an advantage)
Proficient in Excel and other office suite apps.
